In a majestic rural setting with views of the mountains and mesas, Grizzly Roadhouse Bed & Breakfast is just minutes from the Ute Mountain Tribal Park, Mesa Verde National Park, and many other incredible sites in Southwest Colorado.

Patios and decks provide a comfortable spot for summer relaxation, bird watching, and savoring the most sensational sunsets in Mesa Verde Country. Our bear necessities include walks along high mesa trails, soaking in our spa, exploring the bounty of nature, uninterrupted views of the stars, native storytelling and "hibernation" spiritual retreats.

Enjoy native foods and stories from Michelle's Santa Clara Pueblo background. Dine on a full gourbear breakfast featuring authentic native food from family recipes. Blue corn pancakes, chili rellenos, corn quiche, omelets, homemade breads and muffins and much more. Not beary hungry? We also offer a lighter fare; help yourself to the buffet of teas, coffee, snacks, juices and soda.

		Mesa Verde Pueblo ruins is one of the largest Pueblo sites in the Four Corners area and is only miles away. McElmo Canyon and Ute Mountain Tribal Park have similar, less commercialized ruins. Peddle your way through the southwest's beautiful scenery, try 18 holes of golf, or plan a fishing adventure at McPhee Reservoir or the gold medal waters of the Dolores River.
		Hosts Jake and Michelle love their country surroundings and will gladly direct you to skiing, rafting, hiking and tennis.

The Grizzly Rose Guest Cottage is decorated in Victorian style. Each room has its own private bath; beds are not too hard, not too soft - "just right"! A walk-out patio and wonderful views of the red mesas are an added feature. Each room has its own sitting area with a TV/VCR and privacy. The Guest Cottage includes a common area full kitchen for the convenience of our bear guests.

	The B&B consists of four Victorian rooms with private baths, including a private two room, two bath guest cottage with a fully maintained kitchen/dining area. The interior of the mainhouse is a blending of different styles, but the prevailing one is comfort. Guest rooms are Victorian in design featuring antique furnishings. The living room is intended to be informal so that you can relax and enjoy yourself if you choose to spend the evening at home.

Both Guest areas include use of the spa, hiking and walking. Full breakfast served in dining room in the mainhouse, or a continental breakfast, if preferred. Interested in LaStone Massage Therapy? Michelle is a licensed Lastone Massage Therapist and a Reiki Specialist. Schedule an appointment and enjoy the benefits of the Polar Clan Healing Center, where Michelle will use the hot and cold stone's along with Reiki energy work. Spend time at the shrine surrounded by a peace garden and become "one" with Mother Earth and meditate while you walk the medicine wheel.

Michelle is also an Ordained Minister and is licensed to officiate at Weddings and Renewal of Vows.

Children are welcome! The Grizzly Roadhouse is in the country full of many interesting and sometimes unfriendly things, parents must keep an eye on their children.

Cancellation policy:

Full refund if canceled within twenty days. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or payment in check or money order for one night's stay.
